Japan Flora: vivid green and more slender, less densely pubescent; leaves thinner, the terminal leaHets ovate to narrowly so, 4-8 cm. long, 3-5 cm. wide; bracts 25-3.5 mm. long; calyx 4-5 mm. long, the lobes tri­angular; legumes puberulent, 15-17 mm. long, nearly sessile. Aug.-Sept.

Honshu (centr. di str. and westw.), Kyushu.
