Japan Flora: Stems more profusely branched; leaves of 2 forms, the lower spreading, the upper nearly erect or appressed, rather densely  arranged.  Aug.-Oct. Waste grounds and roadsides.

Honshu, Kyushu; common. Ussuri, n. China, Korea, and Manchuria.
