: Resembles M, sylvatica, but with creeping or decumbent stems; calyx shallowly lobed, loosely appressed-pilose. Wet places in Honshu (Shinano Prov.) and Hokkaido (Nemuro Prov.). Introduced from Europe and naturalized.
