Korea Flora: Habit: Perennial herb; leaves densely arranged at apex of short, creeping rhizome. Stipe: 25-50 cm long, densely scaly. Scales: Light brown, membranous, margins entire; broadly lanceolate to linear, up to 15 mm long, gradually narrowing upwards. Blade: Ovate-oblong to triangular-ovate, apex acute, 30-40 cm × 25-30 cm; bright green; tripinnate, deeply divided. Pinnae: Lanceolate to elongate-oblong-lanceolate; apex acute; shortly stalked; scaly on abaxial surface. Pinnules: Lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate; base cuneate; sessile or very shortly stalked; apex long-acuminate; 7-10 mm wide; deeply pinnatifid. Ultimate Segments: Oblong; apex rounded or obtuse; teeth aristate. Sori: Arranged in 1-3 rows near costa at base of segments; indusium round-reniform with scabrous margins. Note: Distinguished by its bright green color, deeply divided tripinnate leaves, and aristate teeth on segments. Habitat: Near Pyohun Temple (表訓寺) at Mount Geumgang.
