Japan Flora: Stems ascending, 3- to 5-leaved; leaves narrowly oblong, 8-15 cm. long, 1.5-2 cm. wide, obtuse or retuse, rather fleshy, the midrib depressed above; peduncles cauline, declined, 5-12 cm. long, few-flowered, the bracts ovate, obtuse, spreading, 4-5 mm. long; flowers pale greenish white; sepals ascending, oblong, about 12 mm. long, obtuse; petals similar to the sepals; lip as long as the sepals, 3-lobed, the lateral lobes small, the terminal lobe spathulate, rounded, undulate on the upper margin; spur saccate, inserted below the lip and bent forward; capsules short-pedicelled.

Honshu (Izu Prov. and westw.), Shikoku, Kyushu; rare. Ryukyus.
