Russia Flora: Rather close to L. clavatum, from which it differs in smaller dimensions of all parts, irregularly and sparsely serrate-dentate phyllodia, the presence of "constrictions" on branches caused by zones with smaller, more stem-appressed phyllodia, as well as solitary strobiloids with stalks 1.5-2 cm long.
