The leaves grow in a bundle and are linear, with a length of 30-35 cm. The flower stem is lower than the leaves and has several sheath-like leaves at the base. From September to October, 3-4 flowers bloom on a terminal inflorescence; usually pale purple with dark veins on the petals.
