Japan Flora: Stems 40-70 cm. long, retrorsely appressed-pilose; radical leaves long- petiolate, the lower cauline 5-angled, rounded, depressed- cordate, 5-8 cm. wide, 5-parted to below the middle, the lobes rhombic-cuneate, 3-fid, with 2 or 3 coarse teeth, acute to subportion of style 3-3.5 mm. long.  

Honshu (Chugoku Distr.).
