Russia Flora: Plant, up to 30 (35) cm tall. Stems and petioles of basal leaves glabrous, rarely sparsely hairy. Rosette leaves with almost circular leaf blades, dissected into 3 primary segments, usually with diverging, not overlapping or sometimes slightly touching lateral sides; all segments glabrous or with solitary hairs along upper margin. Ovaries and nutlets glabrous. In other aspects similar to the previous species. 2n = 14 (Starodubtsev, 1983), 16, 16 + 2-3B (Probatova, Sokolovskaya, 1983), 20 (Sokolovskaya, 1966). (Table VII).

Distribution: Lower Zeya, Ussuri (Fig. 21). - Floodplains and low floodplain terraces of river valleys and streams, on sufficiently loose and rich soils with flowing moisture in riverine forests and shrub formations; often in groups. VI. - General distribution: Japanese-Chinese (Northeastern China). - Described from Khabarovsk: "Amur, 1855 V 26, C. Maximowicz" (lectotype - LE).
