Japan Flora: Fronds membranous, narrowly obovate to oblong, palmately 3- to 5- nerved, 4-6 mm. long, 1.5-2.5 mm. wide, purplish beneath; roots 3-5; winter buds absent; plants growing throughout the year in the summer condition.

Shikoku, Kyushu (according to S. Miki). Formosa, China, Malaysia, and Australia.
