Mycoheterotrophic perennial.  Flowers usually 2-3, erect, bell-shaped, whitish orange-yellow, straight 4-7 mm in diameter, with warty projections on the outer surface. The sepals and petals are united for more than 4/5 of the length and have a 5-lobed corolla. Inflorescence length 1 to 5 cm, at fruiting he grows 10-30 cm, capsules 1-1.7 cm long, oval, whitish.

It was described in Taiwan (2011), but was also found in Yakushima of Japan. It grows on the forest floor of natural forests of evergreen broad-leaved trees.  Flowering: June.

The total number of extant mature individuals is less than 50in 2018.  The extent area and population are limited.
